The right person should be able to move from concept to CAD to real-world prototypes, while thinking creatively and technically at the same time.<br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities<br/><br/></strong><ul><li> Develop product concepts using lightweight panel materials and modular profiles.</li><li> Create CAD models, drawings and technical details for furniture, boxes and panel assemblies.</li><li> Design connection solutions, edge caps, inserts, profiles and simple hardware interfaces.</li><li> Prepare manufacturing drawings and files for CNC cutting, routing, welding, bending, assembly and prototyping.</li><li> Work closely with engineering, workshop and production partners to adapt designs to real fabrication limits.</li><li> Support the development of modular product families based on standard board sizes, profiles and connection principles.</li><li> Create visual renderings and presentation material for customers, partners and investors.</li><li> Improve prototypes based on practical testing, assembly experience and feedback.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Required Skills<br/><br/></strong><ul><li> Strong CAD experience, preferably with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, Inventor, AutoCAD or similar.</li><li> Good understanding of product design, furniture design, industrial design or technical product development.</li><li> Ability to design practical parts with tolerances, joints, fasteners and assembly details.</li><li> Experience with sheet materials, panels, plastics, furniture, exhibition systems, modular structures or lightweight product systems.</li><li> Ability to move from concept sketches to production-ready CAD drawings.</li><li> Creative but practical mindset.</li><li> Interest in sustainable materials, circular product design and real-world prototyping.<br/><br/></li></ul>Nice to have<br/><br/><ul><li> Experience with CNC routing, plastic welding, thermoforming, extrusion profiles or sheet fabrication.</li><li> Knowledge of furniture hardware, connectors, hinges, edge finishing or modular systems.</li><li> Experience with sustainable materials, recycled materials or lightweight structures.</li><li> Rendering skills for product presentations.<br/><br/></li></ul>Goal of the role<br/><br/>The goal is to turn a new lightweight panel material into real prototype products that demonstrate its potential in furniture, boxes, modular interiors and structural lightweight applications.<br/><br/>This is not a purely conceptual design role and not a purely desk-based CAD role.
