Day to day, you’ll partner with software engineering teams, product owners and other relevant functional teams to translate scientific and product needs. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong> Required (Must-have): </strong></p><p>● Expert with React and TypeScript, including hooks, state management, and modern patterns. ● Proficiency in UX/UI tools and practices (Figma/Sketch, wireframing, prototyping, user flows). ● Strong CSS skills (CSS-in-JS or utility frameworks), responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. ● Experience with Playwright for E2E testing and testing-library/Jest for unit/integration tests. ● Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), semantic HTML, and ARIA best practices. ● Comfortable defining and evolving a design system and component library. ● Experience integrating REST/gRPC/GraphQL APIs and handling auth, caching, and error states. ● Practical understanding of performance profiling, code splitting, and CI/CD for frontend apps. ● Clear communication, user empathy, and ability to drive work from discovery through delivery. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong> Desirable (Nice to have): </strong></p><p>● Data visualization (e.g., D3, openLayers), storybook-driven development, analytics/telemetry, and basic backend awareness for end-to-end collaboration.</p> </div>
