This position is with one of our clients in <strong>Switzerland </strong>who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Position : Avaloq Technical Business Analyst </strong></p><p><strong>Location : Geneva Switzerland (Hybrid) </strong></p><p><strong>Type : Permanent Role</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Role and Responsibilities: </strong></p><p>• Gathering and assessment of business requirements for the Finance Business Line</p><p>• Functional specifications drafting in an iterative Agile environment</p><p>• Designing cost-effective, high-performing IT solutions</p><p>• Ensuring the quality of technical solution designs</p><p>• Implementing solutions in line with best practices and established standards</p><p>• Supporting production by documenting and analyzing incidents and third-level requests</p><p>• Promoting development and industry best practices across the Bank</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Experience required</strong></p><p>• This is an Individual Contributor role. Candidates with more than 10 years of experience may be considered; however, they should be comfortable working in a hands-on individual contributor capacity, as this is not a Lead or Managerial position.</p><p>• At least 5 years of experience in Avaloq development</p><p>• Strong knowledge of Avaloq modules and technical components</p><p>• Working Knowledge in Credit/Risk/Collateral/Performance module is an advantage</p><p>• Expertise in PL/SQL, Liquibase, and database access tools</p><p>• Good understanding of Agile principles, ideally with hands-on Scrum experience</p><p>• Ability to work independently within a clear framework of accountability</p><p>• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Codex and/or Claude Code is a plus</p><p>• Strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and personal responsibility</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• The Software Engineering department designs and integrates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems and trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions.</p><p>• It drives key innovations across the Group while supporting business operations and enhancing custodian and fund administration services.</p><p>• As a member of the Financial Accounting &amp; Management Accounting Squad of the Corporate and Support platform, you will aim to understand the needs of the Group Finance department and translate them into ingenious, value-creating solutions. You will be responsible for the management and evolutionary maintenance of the product's IT solutions, based on user needs, and will actively participate in the implementation and deployment of their new versions.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Note: Applicants for employment in Switzerland should possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.</strong></p><p><br/></p> </div>
