Here you will find more information about GTD Group: https://vimeo.com/149636682 The role: The Satellite Check-Out Control System Engineer will work closely with our customer's team and will provide support in the validation of a ground segment system. This team is responsible for the configuration, integration, validation, and operational readiness of the spacecraft Check-Out Control System (COCS) used during Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT/AIV) activities. The role supports the deployment of the ground-based engineering environment required to command, monitor, test, and verify spacecraft subsystems throughout the integration and pre-operational phases. The engineer ensures that the Check-Out Control System is correctly configured to interface with the spacecraft, Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), test benches, and associated infrastructure, and that it supports reliable execution of functional, interface, performance, and end-to-end verification activities in accordance with project, quality, and security requirements. Position activities: Set up, configure, and maintain the satellite Check-Out Control System (COCS) for spacecraft AIT/AIV activities. Integrate the COCS with spacecraft subsystems, EGSE, front-end equipment, simulators, and supporting test infrastructure. Configure telemetry and telecommand databases, parameter definitions, monitoring limits, command stacks, and test procedure interfaces. Verify and validate internal and external interfaces in accordance with Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and system requirements. Support the preparation and execution of functional, interface, end-to-end, and regression tests using the Check-Out Control System. Develop, adapt, and maintain automated and semi-automated test procedures, scripts, and operational sequences for subsystem and system-level verification. Support troubleshooting, anomaly investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation during integration and test campaigns. Ensure proper configuration control, software baseline management, and traceability of COCS versions, test configurations, and associated artifacts. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including configuration records, setup procedures, test procedures, anomaly reports, and test evidence. Coordinate with spacecraft subsystem teams, systems engineering, AIT teams, software teams, and external suppliers to ensure readiness and compatibility of the COCS environment. Support test readiness reviews, validation reviews, and operational handover activities related to the Check-Out Control System. Requisitos: Your profile: Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Good skills in scripting languages (TCL preferably) and database management. Strong analytical skills for problem investigation. Dynamism and flexibility to understand customer processes and adapt solutions accordingly. Ability to produce clear and structured reports. Good communication skills both verbal and written. English B2 or higher (proficiency in German is a big plus).
