Your contribution will be as <strong>Senior Software Engineer, </strong>owning the development of mission-critical ground systems used to control, monitor, and operate advanced platforms.</p><p><br/></p><p>This is a true <strong>0→1 environment.</strong> You’ll be building systems from first principles, not maintaining legacy code.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong><u>What you’ll be doing</u></strong></p><ul><li>Designing and building <strong>ground control systems (GCS)</strong> for mission planning, execution, and monitoring</li><li>Developing <strong>user interfaces (Qt)</strong> for operator-facing tools</li><li>Writing high-performance <strong>C++ software</strong> for control logic and system interaction</li><li>Building software for <strong>EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment)</strong></li><li>Integrating with simulation, test rigs, and real hardware systems</li><li>Working closely with GNC, systems, and test teams to deliver real operational capability</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong><u>What they’re looking for</u></strong></p><ul><li>Strong <strong>C++</strong> experience in embedded / real-time or systems environments</li><li>Solid experience building <strong>UI applications (Qt preferred)</strong></li><li>Background in <strong>defence, aerospace, robotics, or complex hardware systems</strong></li><li>Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, <strong>startup-style environments</strong></li></ul><p><br/></p><p>It's important to highlight these are small elite teams; high ownership, low bureaucracy.
