What you build is consequential on the future of NATO Defence.</p><p><br/></p><p>We're looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join us onsite in Munich.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p>You'll be working close to hardware on flight and ground systems writing real-time software on Embedded Linux, RTOS, and bare-metal platforms. You'll own low-level drivers, middleware, and avionics interfaces, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with electronics and systems engineers.</p><p><br/></p><p>This means C and C++ written to a high standard, debugging on real hardware, bring-up, fault isolation, and performance tuning. Where it accelerates delivery, you'll use model-based tools like MATLAB/Simulink.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Who we're looking for</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years developing embedded software close to hardware in aerospace, defence, or an equivalently demanding domain</li><li>Strong instincts for timing, determinism, and resource constraints on RTOS, Embedded Linux, or bare-metal</li><li>Fluent in C and/or C++, with a focus on correctness and long-term maintainability</li><li>Comfortable debugging on real hardware - not just in simulation</li><li>Used to working tightly with electronics and avionics engineers, shaping interfaces rather than just consuming them</li><li>Motivated by small-team, flight-critical work where your code directly affects system behaviour</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>If this feels like a strong fit or if you bring something exceptional that doesn't fit neatly into the description we'd love to hear from you.</p><p><br/></p><p>This is an onsite role.
