<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p><strong>Senior Product Designer – Product Company Experience</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Purpose of the Role</strong></p><p>The Senior Product Designer plays a key role in combining product delivery, problem framing, strong design craft and close collaboration in a product trio. </p><p><br/></p><p>We are looking for someone who can bring hands-on experience from a product-led environment, move confidently from discovery to delivery, and help create a structured, outcome-oriented product for our users.</p><p><br/></p><p>You are senior enough to work independently, support operational design needs, and contribute to product decisions, while still being hands-on and close to the details. You bring a fresh perspective to the team, communicate clearly, and help create a more collaborative culture across design, product and engineering.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>End-to-end product design</strong>: Drive the design process from discovery to delivery: framing problems, mapping journeys, sketching flows, prototyping solutions, refining UI, supporting implementation, and making pragmatic trade-offs with Product and R&D.</li><li><strong>Continuous discovery</strong>: drive continuous discovery practices to engage with users frequently, test hypotheses, and iterate based on evidence.</li><li><strong>Design systems</strong>: Contribute to and evolve our design system for adoption, scalability and consistency across products.</li><li><strong>Cross-functional collaboration</strong>: Work closely within a product trio to balance desirability, feasibility and viability, contributing constructively to product decisions even when trade-offs are needed.</li><li><strong>Customer-centricity</strong>: Advocate for the customer in decision-making, using data and research to represent their needs.</li><li><strong>Craft excellence</strong>: Deliver clean, accessible, high-quality designs that reflect best practice in interaction and visual design.</li><li><strong>Collaborative culture: </strong>Help build a more open, pragmatic and learning-oriented team culture by bringing a different perspective, inviting critique, making work visible early by delivering concrete results quickly.</li><li><strong>Operational ownership:</strong> Take responsibility for concrete design deliveries within the product team, including clear artefacts, decision-ready prototypes, implementation support, and follow-through after release.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Education</strong>: Master’s degree in interaction design, product design, or a related field. Equivalent experience with a strong portfolio is also considered.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Typically 5+ years in product or UX design roles, preferably within a product company, B2B SaaS, or another complex digital product environment.</li><li>Experience working on a live product over time, not only project-based or agency delivery.</li><li>Proven ability to take a product area from unclear opportunity through discovery, design, delivery and iteration.</li><li>Experience collaborating closely with product managers and engineers on prioritisation, trade-offs and release decisions.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Core Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent communication and storytelling skills - both written and verbal</li><li>Professional fluency in German and English is required.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Figma, Miro, and FigJam, and familiarity with Azure DevOps.</li><li>Practical competence in qualitative research, problem framing and lightweight validation methods, with the judgement to choose the right level of process for the situation.</li><li>Ability to think holistically and apply design systematically across features and workflows.</li><li>Experience facilitating workshops, conducting user testing, and collaborating across disciplines.</li><li>Familiarity with product-led growth strategies and enterprise onboarding flows is a plus.</li><li>Comfort with AI-assisted design tools and practices.</li><li>Bonus: Experience in design systems, accessibility standards, or working in replatforming contexts.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What success looks like</strong></p><p>· You can take an ambiguous product problem and create enough clarity for the team to move forward.</p><p>· You deliver high-quality design work without needing heavy supervision.</p><p>· You are comfortable challenging assumptions while staying pragmatic and collaborative.</p><p>· You understand what it means to design for a live product with real customers, constraints and business goals.</p><p>· You improve the way the product trio works, not only the screens it ships.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Customer outcomes</strong>: Contribution to measurable improvements in user satisfaction, feature adoption rate, task completion, or onboarding success.</li><li><strong>Business outcomes</strong>: Impact on product metrics such as activation, retention, or efficiency.</li><li><strong>Design quality</strong>: Feedback from design critiques, reduction in design debt, adherence to design system.</li><li><strong>Discovery cadence</strong>: Frequency and quality of user testing, co-creation sessions, or insight generation.</li><li><strong>Collaboration</strong>: Feedback from team rituals, ability to align with product and engineering peers.</li><li><strong>Velocity:</strong> Effective use of AI-assisted workflows to increase design throughput and quality without compromising craft or judgement.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Reporting Structure</strong></p><ul><li>Reports to: Head of Design</li><li>Collaborates closely with: Product Managers, Developers, Customer Success, and Platform teams</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>· Location<strong>:</strong> Germany (Hybrid or remote).
