This is an opportunity to work across the full machine learning lifecycle, taking ideas from research through to production and delivering AI-powered features that have a tangible impact on end users.</p><p><br/></p><p>The Role</p><p>As part of a cross-functional Product and Engineering team, you'll design, build and deploy production-grade machine learning and AI solutions. You'll work across everything from predictive modelling and intelligent search to agentic AI systems, owning projects end-to-end and continuously improving them through experimentation and data-driven iteration.</p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Design, develop and deploy machine learning models from concept through to production.</li><li>Build predictive models that support intelligent decision-making using large-scale datasets.</li><li>Develop and enhance search, ranking and retrieval systems to improve user experiences.</li><li>Design offline evaluation frameworks, run online experiments and A/B tests, using data to drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Build and evolve AI agent workflows capable of multi-step reasoning and solving complex real-world problems.</li><li>Deliver production-ready solutions, including models, backend services, APIs and integrations with modern web applications.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Data teams to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions.</li><li>Monitor, maintain and optimise deployed machine learning systems to ensure performance, reliability and ongoing improvement.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>About You</p><p>We're looking for someone who combines strong machine learning expertise with a product-focused mindset and enjoys taking ownership of solutions from idea through to delivery.</p><p><br/></p><p>Essential Skills &amp; Experience</p><ul><li>5+ years' experience designing, training and deploying machine learning models in production environments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of both classical machine learning and deep learning, with hands-on experience using frameworks such as PyTorch.</li><li>Excellent Python development skills, writing clean, maintainable production code.</li><li>Extensive experience building LLM-powered applications, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, tool use, evaluation frameworks and multi-step reasoning systems.</li><li>Experience evaluating model performance using offline metrics and online experimentation, including A/B testing.</li><li>Working knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js and modern front-end frameworks such as React, enabling you to integrate AI solutions into customer-facing applications.</li><li>A proven track record of delivering complete product features, taking projects from research and prototyping through to production deployment.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritise effectively.</li><li>A pragmatic, data-driven approach, using experimentation to validate ideas and drive decisions.</li><li>German language skills at B1 level or above.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Desirable</p><ul><li>Experience building recommendation, search, ranking or pricing models.</li><li>Exposure to embedding models, fine-tuning foundation models or large-scale model training.</li><li>Experience working within marketplace, SaaS or other data-rich product environments.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>What's on Offer</p><ul><li>Fully remote position based in Germany, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the country.</li><li>Competitive salary of €90,000 - €120,000, depending on experience.</li><li>Equity package, giving you the opportunity to share in the company's long-term success.</li><li>The chance to work on cutting-edge AI products with real-world impact alongside a highly collaborative engineering team.</li></ul><p><br/></p> </div>
