This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and enhancing AI and machine learning solutions aimed at optimizing asset management within our grid operations. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects related to predictive maintenance, leveraging data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime. As part of an agile product team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments including IT, Data Science, and business units to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions. The role is initially limited until December 31, 2027, providing a unique chance to contribute to the energy transition while working in a forward-thinking environment.<br/><br/><strong>Qualifications<br/><br/></strong>The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, or hold an equivalent qualification. You should have extensive hands-on experience with Python and PySpark/Spark SQL, particularly within Databricks environments. Familiarity with building, operating, and evolving ETL/ELT pipelines—especially involving SAP, GIS data sources, REST APIs, and SQL databases—is essential. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, preferably Azure, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Blob Storage, and SQL databases, is highly desirable. Additionally, you should have a basic understanding of machine learning concepts, including feature engineering, model evaluation, and retraining, along with operational aspects such as deployment and monitoring.
