As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our central data platform, which serves as the foundation for all data analytics use cases across the organization. You will work closely with business units, data scientists, and developers to translate complex requirements into scalable data solutions, ensuring data quality, security, and sustainability. Your ability to bridge technical and business perspectives will be vital in facilitating cross-functional collaboration, structuring complex data landscapes, and enabling data-driven decision-making that is practical, understandable, and impactful for the company.<br/><br/><strong>Qualifications<br/><br/></strong>The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in data engineering, stakeholder management, and agile methodologies. You should have excellent communication skills in German (minimum C1 level) and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Proven experience in moderating cross-functional discussions, requirements engineering, and working within organizational frameworks such as Scrum is essential. Strong DevOps skills, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and Docker, are required. You should also have in-depth knowledge of data modeling, cloud infrastructures (preferably AWS), and programming languages such as SQL, TypeScript, and Python. Additional familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, MLOps, and Big Data technologies like Hadoop is advantageous.
