Key Account Manager – Utility
<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Key Account Manager</strong> to support our <strong>Utility business (PV + BESS)</strong> in the DACH region.</p><p>This role will focus on managing key clients such as <strong>project developers, EPCs, and utilities</strong>, supporting <strong>RFQs, tenders, and contract negotiations</strong>, and working closely with the regional head to win new projects and expand existing accounts.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and develop key utility clients (Developers, EPCs, Utilities)</li><li>Support <strong>RFQs, tender submissions, and commercial proposals</strong></li><li>Lead or support <strong>contract negotiations</strong> (Delivery, Performance, LDs, SLAs, etc.)</li><li>Coordinate internally with <strong>technical, legal, and finance teams</strong></li><li>Drive long sales cycles and close complex B2B deals</li><li>Identify new business opportunities and expand existing partnerships</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>We are looking for</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or above (Business, Engineering, or related)</li><li><strong>4–7 years</strong> of experience in <strong>B2B sales / Key Account Management</strong>, ideally in energy or utility sector</li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>energy systems (PV, BESS, grid infrastructure, etc.)</strong></li><li>Solid knowledge of <strong>contract structures and basic contract law</strong></li><li>Familiar with <strong>German/EU energy regulations and tender processes</strong></li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Strong <strong>consultative selling and negotiation skills</strong></li><li>Experience managing <strong>complex, multi-stakeholder projects</strong></li><li>Analytical mindset with ability to translate customer needs into solutions</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li><li>Proactive, structured, and result-driven</li><li>Strong cross-functional collaboration ability</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Language</strong></p><ul><li><strong>German: Native / Fluent</strong></li><li><strong>English: Business level (B2/C1)</strong></li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>public or semi-public tenders</strong></li><li>Familiar with <strong>CRM / ERP systems</strong></li><li>Driving license (Class B)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Who We Are:</p><p>Shenzhen SOFARSOLAR Co., LTD. , founded in 2013, is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales and marketing.
