This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our complex infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation, security, and scalability of our technological environment. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing our infrastructure, actively contributing to the development of innovative solutions that support the organization’s strategic objectives. Collaborating closely with development and operations teams, you will play a crucial role in automating processes, evaluating new tools, and implementing cutting-edge technologies. Your expertise will help us achieve greater efficiency, reliability, and security across our IT landscape, ultimately supporting the organization’s mission and daily operations.<br/><br/><strong>Qualifications<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>A successfully completed IT degree, vocational training as an IT specialist (m/w/x), or comparable qualifications gained through extensive professional experience in DevOps engineering.</li><li>Practical experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of monitoring, log management, and SIEM solutions.</li><li>Hands-on experience in automation, network infrastructure management, and familiarity with Cisco networking and firewall systems.</li><li>Proven track record in system integration and administration of heterogeneous and hybrid IT environments.</li><li>Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and effectively.</li><li>Solution-oriented, independent, and structured working style with a focus on delivering high-quality results.</li><li>Reliability, team spirit, and resilience to handle demanding situations effectively.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Responsibilities<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Take ownership of the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of our diverse IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.</li><li>Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows, optimize system performance, and implement innovative solutions.</li><li>Evaluate, select, and integrate new tools and technologies that enhance our infrastructure and operational capabilities.</li><li>Support automation-focused projects from requirements analysis through to technical implementation, promoting efficiency and scalability.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT services, configurations, and procedures, ensuring transparency and ease of knowledge transfer.</li><li>Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement improvements to ensure optimal system health and security.</li><li>Participate in on-call duties and respond promptly to technical incidents to minimize downtime and impact on operations.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br/><br/></strong>We offer a secure and modern workplace in Berlin-Kreuzberg with a full-time employment contract.
