In this role, you will be instrumental in further developing our USER.ID platform, a core component of our publishing ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing microservice architectures within an AWS-based Kubernetes environment. Collaborating within an agile, cross-functional team, you will actively contribute your technical expertise to build scalable, secure, and efficient backend solutions. You will also take on technical coordination tasks, guiding both your immediate team and cross-team collaborations. As part of a transformative project, you will assist in rebuilding and advancing significant parts of our publishing platform. Sharing your knowledge and mentoring junior developers will be a key aspect of your contribution, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.<br/><br/><strong>Qualifications<br/><br/></strong>The ideal candidate will have a completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, with at least five years of professional experience in Java and Java EE development. Deep understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, and secure JWT handling is essential, along with practical experience working with identity providers such as Keycloak for integration and operation. You should possess solid knowledge of designing and operating microservices, adhering to best practices in software architecture. Proficiency in working with relational databases, REST APIs (OpenAPI), Kubernetes, Kibana, and Grafana is required. Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks like JUnit 5, Mockito, and Spring Tests is also necessary.
