The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business systems and applications to meet the needs of our organization. They will work closely with stakeholders to identify requirements, develop solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>· - Analyze and evaluate business processes, systems, and user needs.</p><p>· - Develop and document functional and technical specifications.</p><p>· - Design and implement Unix and AIX-based solutions to meet business requirements. Need to be proficient in clustering and VIO.</p><p>· - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.</p><p>· - Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).</p><p>· - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Unix and AIX systems.</p><p>· - Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.</p><p>· - Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.</p><p>· - Ability to evaluate the business requirements and based on current environment, can provide recommendations.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.</p><p>· Proven experience as an IT Associate Consultant working closely with client, preferably with a focus on Unix and AIX based platforms.</p><p>· Strong understanding of Unix and AIX platforms, including installation, configuration, and administration.</p><p>· Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python.</p><p>· Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning tools.</p><p>· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</p><p>· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p>· Vulnerability management</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><p>· Experience with technologies such as IBM version 6.x and 7.x UNIX, Power VM, Power HA, Tivoli, Service Now, Tenable and HMC.</p><p>· Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.</p><p>· Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.</p><p><br/></p><p>HCL Australia offers a unique opportunity where your employer puts you first and customers second.
