The role requires strong financial domain expertise to gather requirements, define reporting logic, and translate business needs into actionable Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Lead and facilitate requirement-gathering workshops with business and finance stakeholders</li><li>Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, financial KPIs, and analytical use cases</li><li>Define financial data requirements including metrics, ratios, and reporting logic</li><li>Develop detailed functional specifications for dashboards and financial reports</li><li>Define data mappings, business rules, and financial transformations for ETL processes</li><li>Collaborate with data engineering and offshore teams to ensure clarity on requirements and financial logic</li><li>Enable self-service BI and ad-hoc reporting capabilities with proper governance and access control</li><li>Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with finance users and validating outputs</li><li>Ensure alignment of BI solutions with financial reporting standards and business objectives</li></ul><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong><ul><li>5–8+ years of experience in Business Analysis / BI Consulting roles</li><li>Strong domain expertise in Finance (FP&amp;A, Accounting, Financial Reporting)</li><li>In-depth understanding of financial KPIs, ratios, and performance metrics</li><li>Hands-on experience with:<ul><li>Actual vs Budget vs Forecast analysis</li><li>Variance analysis and trend reporting</li></ul></li><li>Solid knowledge of financial statements:<ul><li>P&amp;L (Profit &amp; Loss)</li><li>Balance Sheet</li><li>Cash Flow</li><li>General Ledger (GL) structures</li></ul></li><li>Good understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL processes, and financial data transformations</li><li>Experience with BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud or equivalent (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly with senior finance stakeholders (CFO, FP&amp;A teams)</li><li>Ability to translate complex financial concepts into scalable BI solutions</li></ul> </div>
