In this role, you will be at the cutting edge of applied AI research, focusing on Generative AI, NLP, and agentic systems. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate, design, and implement experimental AI models that translate scientific insights into practical applications. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Haufe’s AI-driven products by conducting structured experiments, developing prototypes, and providing strategic recommendations based on your findings. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including our KI-Plattform-Team and Legal Tech Lab, you will ensure that the latest technological trends are integrated into our solutions, ultimately delivering measurable value to our customers and stakeholders.<br/><br/><strong>Qualifications<br/><br/></strong>The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in NLP, Computer Science, or related fields, with a Master’s degree or PhD preferred. A minimum of three years of professional experience in NLP, Machine Learning, or Generative AI is required. You should have a proven track record of designing and conducting robust experiments, writing clean and reproducible code, and developing functional prototypes. Experience with information retrieval, knowledge graphs, and large-scale data processing is advantageous. Excellent communication skills in both German (C1 level or higher) and English are essential, as is the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
