VP Product Marketing (Berlin, Germany) €110,000 – €125,000 base + OTE circa €150,000 Permanent | 5 days onsite A high-growth digital bank with customers across the Europe and the US is looking to appoint a VP of Product Marketing Manager to join their Berlin team. This is a pivotal role sitting at the intersection of product, marketing and commercial strategy. You’ll take ownership of how products are positioned, brought to market and adopted, working closely with product, data and campaign teams to shape both messaging and product direction. This is a genuinely influential role in a fast-scaling environment where product marketing is seen as a core driver of growth, not a support function. The role Define product positioning, value propositions and messaging frameworks across a suite of digital banking products Lead go-to-market strategy for new features, products and enhancements Partner closely with product teams, embedding marketing into the development lifecycle and influencing roadmaps with customer insight Collaborate with campaign, lifecycle and paid media teams to deliver integrated, high-impact marketing activity Use data and analytics to identify adoption drivers, optimise customer journeys and increase lifetime value Conduct competitive analysis and customer segmentation to inform strategy Monitor performance across products and campaigns, providing insight and recommendations for optimisation Work closely with compliance and controls to ensure all marketing activity meets regulatory standards Engage and influence senior stakeholders across the business Mentor and support wider marketing team members What they’re looking for Strong product marketing experience within banking or financial services Proven track record delivering go-to-market strategies in complex, cross-functional environments Experience working closely with product teams across the full development lifecycle Deep understanding of marketing channels, including lifecycle, creative and paid media Commercial mindset with the ability to translate product features into compelling customer value Strong analytical skills, comfortable using data to drive decisions Experience operating in regulated environments with a solid understanding of compliance requirements Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills Fluent English Desirable experience Experience in digital banking or fintech environments Exposure to international or multi-market businesses German language skills Strong project management capability in fast-paced environments Experience mentoring or leading within marketing teams Why this role This is an opportunity to join a business scaling rapidly across multiple international markets, where product marketing plays a central role in growth.
