Founded in 2019 by Tim Niekamp and Iwo Gernemann, we're headquartered in Osnabrück with a US office in Boston. 400+ active systems, 3 continents, Series A closed. Our clients include teams from the NFL, NBA, MLS, and NHL.

Every year, millions of people move faster through food service venues because of what we build.

The role

VisioLab’s product is used in the most chaotic environments imaginable - stadium concourses, arena concession stands, and high-volume hospitality venues. In these settings, the UX has to be instant, intuitive, and bulletproof. We need a Senior UX Designer who can design interfaces that work under pressure, for users who don’t have time to think.

This is UX where every second counts and every pixel matters.

What You'll Do

Help us figure out what's worth building - challenge product assumptions and advocate for user needs before solutions are defined

Own the end-to-end user experience across VisioLab's product suite

Design interfaces for high-speed, high-stakes environments - where clarity is everything

Conduct user research in the field: observe real users in real venues, not just in interviews

Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and ML to translate complexity into simplicity

Build and maintain a scalable design system that accelerates development

Prototype rapidly, test with real users, and iterate based on data and observation

What You'll Bring

4+ years in UX/UI design, with experience on complex, data-rich, or real-time products

Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design for challenging environments

Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools

Experience with design systems and component-based design thinking

Real product judgment - you push back early, ask hard questions, and know that the best design decisions often happen before anyone opens Figma

Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

A hands-on, low-ego approach - you design, test, learn, and redesign

Fluent in English; German is a plus

What We Can Offer You

Real ownership from day one. Your designs ship and millions of people use them

High trust, low politics, fast decisions

A company that values execution over perfection

Remote-first, with occasional travel to our Osnabrück office

Subsidized sport membership & other benefits

Competitive salary

A product live in NFL, NBA, and NHL venues and a story that's only getting bigger

About Us

We are looking forward to your application!
