<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p>Project / Role: On behalf of our public sector client, we are seeking an SQL Developer / Data Engineer (PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server) to further develop data migration services within a modern software engineering environment.</p><p><br/></p><p>Key responsibilities:</p><p>•Designing, optimising and scaling complex data migration workflows</p><p>•Analysing complex data structures and dependencies</p><p>•Developing intelligent mapping logic and automated data cleansing strategies</p><p>•Creating and optimising sophisticated SQL queries</p><p>•Developing automated tests to ensure data integrity and quality</p><p>•Preparing migration and test data, and monitoring</p><p><br/></p><p>Requirements:</p><p>•A degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification (university or university of applied sciences) and relevant professional experience</p><p>•Several years’ (at least 5 years’) practical experience in SQL development and optimisation</p><p>•Proficiency in PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server (ideally both technologies)</p><p>•Demonstrable experience in data modelling and database architecture (conceptual and technical)</p><p>•Experience with data migrations and/or ETL projects in complex data environments</p><p>•Proficiency in working with complex, heterogeneous or legacy databases</p><p>•A structured and analytical approach to work, as well as a keen awareness of data quality, consistency and performance</p><p>•Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical matters clearly</p><p>•An advantage: experience with Python for data processing, scripting or automation</p><p>Languages:</p><p>•German – Very good knowledge (at least C1)</p><p>•English – Fluent, both spoken and written</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Role: SQL Developer (m/f/d)</p><p>Location: Zurich and surrounding area</p><p>Working hours: 80–100% (at least 2–3 days on-site in Zurich)</p><p>Start: ASAP</p><p>End: 31 December 2026 (+/-)</p> </div>
