<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Solution Architect (m/f/d) </strong>to support the clients Digital Euro Pilot initiative</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Start:</strong> ASAP</p><p><strong>End:</strong> End September 2026 (extension possible)</p><p><strong>Volume:</strong> 80%</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote / Vienna</p><p><strong>Key Experience around:</strong></p><p>• Core Banking Systems (CBS) integration</p><p>• Payment architectures and payment processing</p><p>• Digital Euro / CBDC acceptance and transaction flows</p><p>• Multi-country banking landscape integration within the clients Group</p><p>• Group-wide integration architecture and API-based connectivity</p><p>You will assess, design, and guide the target architecture for the Digital Euro Pilot, ensuring</p><p>alignment with ECB requirements, Group architecture standards, payment ecosystem requirements,</p><p>and existing bank platforms.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Tasks (independent delivery)</strong></p><p><strong>Target Architecture Definition </strong></p><p>• Define together with our enterprise architect the target architecture for the Digital Euro Pilot</p><p>• Assess architecture options for local versus central implementation across the Group entities</p><p>• Ensure alignment with architecture principles, security standards, and regulatory</p><p>requirements</p><p>• Provide architectural guidance for pilot implementation and future production roll-out</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Core Banking &amp; Payments Integration </strong></p><p>• Design integration patterns between Digital Euro components and Core Banking Systems</p><p>• Define interfaces to payment platforms, settlement systems, liquidity management, customer</p><p>channels, and operational services</p><p>• Assess impacts on existing payment processes and banking infrastructure</p><p>• Ensure scalable and reusable integration concepts across participating entities</p><p>• Support the definition of group-wide integration approaches and multi-country deployment</p><p>models</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Vendor &amp; Solution Assessment </strong></p><p>• Evaluate Digital Euro vendors, platforms, and implementation partners</p><p>• Assess solution architectures, integration complexity, operational impact, and scalability</p><p>• Support build-vs-buy decisions and vendor selection activities</p><p>• Review technical proposals, target architectures, and implementation approaches</p><p>Architecture Governance &amp; Advisory</p><p>• Facilitate architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders</p><p>• Identify architecture risks, dependencies, and design gaps</p><p>• Support decision-making during the Digital Euro pre-study and pilot preparation phase</p><p>• Ensure consistency across participating clients entities</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Executive Reporting &amp; Decision Support </strong></p><p>• Prepare architecture recommendations and management-ready summaries</p><p>• Present findings, architectural options, risks, and recommendations to project sponsors and</p><p>SteerCo</p><p>• Support go/no-go decisions related to pilot participation and implementation scenarios</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Deliverables (Expected Output) </strong></p><p>• Digital Euro target architecture</p><p>• Integration architecture blueprint</p><p>• CBS and payment landscape assessment</p><p>• Architecture decision papers and recommendations</p><p>• Vendor architecture assessment</p><p>• Gap analysis and implementation roadmap</p><p>• Risk and dependency assessment</p><p>• Contribution to pilot implementation planning</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Skills: </strong></p><p>• Extensive experience as Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect</p><p>• Strong banking and financial services background</p><p>• Hands-on experience with Core Banking Systems (e.g., Temenos, SAP Banking, Finacle,</p><p>Avaloq, Hogan or similar)</p><p>• Strong understanding of payment architectures and payment processing ecosystems</p><p>• Experience designing large-scale integration architectures in complex banking environments</p><p>• Strong understanding of API-first architectures, microservices, event-driven integration</p><p>patterns, and cloud-native solutions</p><p>• Experience working with regulatory and compliance requirements within banking</p><p>• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders</p><p>• Experience working in international and multi-entity organizations</p><p>Domain Expertise</p><p>• Deep understanding of payment domains including SEPA, Instant Payments, Cards, Open</p><p>Banking, Request-to-Pay, and modern payment infrastructures</p><p>• Deep expertise in ISO 20022 payment standards (pain, pacs, camt message formats) and</p><p>payment integration architectures.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of SWIFT MT/MX messaging, cross-border payments, and payment</p><p>processing ecosystems.</p><p>• Experience with TARGET Services (T2/TARGET2, TIPS), settlement, liquidity management, and</p><p>reconciliation processes.</p><p>• Previous experience with Core Banking integration and payment hubs is highly preferred</p><p>• Experience with real-time payment systems and high-volume transaction processing</p><p>environments</p><p>• Knowledge of liquidity management, settlement, reconciliation, and operational banking</p><p>processes</p><p>• Previous experience with CBDC initiatives, Central Bank Digital Currency programs, or Digital</p><p>Euro-related projects is highly preferred</p><p>• Understanding of ECB Digital Euro architecture concepts, digital wallets, and CBDC</p><p>ecosystem participants is considered a strong advantage</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Soft skills </strong></p><p>• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset</p><p>• Proactive and results-oriented</p><p>• Structured and pragmatic working approach</p><p>• Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders constructively</p><p>• Excellent communication and facilitation skills</p><p>• Self-driven and comfortable working independently</p><p>• Fluent English required;
