You'll play a key role across infrastructure, networking, virtualization and automation while working alongside experienced engineers on projects that directly shape the future of the company's IT landscape.</p><p>This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, taking ownership of infrastructure, and driving improvements rather than simply maintaining the status quo.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What We Need You For</strong></p><ul><li>Operating, maintaining, and modernizing our IT infrastructure (Linux & Windows)</li><li>Administering and continuously improving our network infrastructure (firewalls, routing, switching, VPN)</li><li>Managing virtualization and storage environments (Proxmox, VMware/ESXi, Huawei, HPE, and others)</li><li>Supporting a wide range of business applications and specialized solutions</li><li>Planning and performing maintenance activities, patch management, and system monitoring</li><li>Analyzing, automating, and documenting IT processes and services</li><li>Collaborating with other IT teams (DevOps, Helpdesk, Network Operations), including occasional support for escalated technical issues</li><li>Contributing to IT projects (e.g., virtualization modernization, PKI, critical infrastructure (KRITIS) compliance)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>Several years of experience as a System Engineer or Senior System Administrator</li><li>Strong expertise in Linux server administration (Debian, CentOS, etc.)</li><li>Solid knowledge of Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)</li><li>Proven hands-on experience with network operations, including firewalls, routing, switching, and VPN gateways—you can understand, troubleshoot, and design network infrastructures effectively</li><li>Experience with Proxmox and/or VMware/ESXi, as well as storage and backup solutions</li><li>An independent, structured way of working—even when documentation is incomplete</li><li>Enthusiasm for automation (e.g., Ansible, Shell, Python) and knowledge sharing within the team</li><li>A proactive mindset with the willingness to take ownership, drive initiatives, and see them through</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Nice to Have (But Not Essential)</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</li><li>Microsoft 365 and Entra ID / Azure Active Directory</li><li>IT security experience, including system hardening, multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control, and SOC integration</li><li>Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration</li><li>Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate management</li><li>Mobile Device Management (MDM) / Mobile Application Management (MAM) for macOS and Windows clients</li><li>Experience working in regulated environments (Critical Infrastructure/KRITIS, Telecommunications Act (TKG), ISO 27001)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Please apply with your most up to date CV if interested.</p> </div>
