They are now looking for a Solutions Architect / Forward-Deployed Engineer to join their growing team in Berlin.<br/><br/>This is a highly hands-on, customer-facing role sitting between engineering, data, product and customer success. You will own the technical delivery and ongoing success of major enterprise retail accounts, working directly with senior stakeholders while also building the solutions, analysis and integrations needed to deliver results.<br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Own 1–2 major enterprise retail accounts from a technical and delivery perspective.</li><li>Work directly with C-suite stakeholders, regional directors, category teams and operational leaders.</li><li>Build solutions using Python, SQL and modern data tooling.</li><li>Develop dashboards, integrations, data pipelines and custom analysis.</li><li>Build and maintain data pipelines and dbt models within BigQuery.</li><li>Analyse large operational datasets to identify opportunities around waste, availability, ordering and ROI.</li><li>Translate customer requirements into clear product and technical improvements.</li><li>Present insights, recommendations and performance results to senior customer stakeholders.</li><li>Travel to customer sites, warehouses and stores across Germany and occasionally France.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Native-level German and strong English.</li><li>Strong Python and SQL skills.</li><li>Experience with BigQuery, Airflow and dbt.</li><li>Strong data analysis skills and confidence working with messy real-world datasets.</li><li>Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar.</li><li>Strong product instinct and commercial awareness.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.</li><li>High ownership mindset and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Who This Suits<br/><br/></strong>This role would suit a data engineer, analytics engineer, solutions engineer, technical consultant, software engineer or technically strong analyst who enjoys working close to the customer.<br/><br/>You will be someone who wants real ownership, direct exposure to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to see the commercial impact of your work.<br/><br/><strong>Package<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Competitive base salary.</li><li>Performance bonus linked to account growth, retention and expansion.</li><li>Equity participation.</li><li>30 days’ annual leave.</li><li>Equipment budget.</li><li>Strong career progression within a fast-growing AI company.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Apply<br/><br/></strong>If you are a German-speaking technical problem-solver with strong Python, SQL and data experience, please apply with an up-to-date CV or contact Tektora for a confidential conversation. </div>
