About The Role

We're a fast-growing, Series A-backed AI SaaS company reimagining procurement for mid-sized industrial enterprises. Our platform automates complex, manual procurement workflows — from data maintenance to bid evaluation — through an intuitive, data-driven Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) product used daily by non-technical procurement professionals.

We're looking for a Senior or Staff Product Designer to join our small, high-craft design team in Munich and define how agentic AI capabilities surface in a product that handles real operational complexity. This is a high-impact role: clear, trustworthy design is the difference between powerful AI features being adopted — and saving customers real money — or being ignored.

You'll work on-site in Munich alongside PMs, engineers, and procurement domain experts. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

Define how agentic AI capabilities are experienced in the product — from communicating "the agent is working" to presenting what it found and recommending next steps.

Design interaction patterns where AI and human judgment collaborate naturally, building trust with non-technical users.

Produce short-horizon vision work (3–6 month horizon) as prototypes and tangible artifacts that align and guide the broader team.

Raise overall product craft and coherence as engineering velocity and feature output scale.

Work directly in code for last-mile polish — check out PRs and tweak interactions before they ship.

Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to translate procurement complexity into genuinely usable experiences.

Define and maintain design systems and component libraries that support consistency at scale.

Conduct user research and usability testing to ground design decisions in real user needs.

What We're Looking For

Required:

Senior-level product designer with a strong portfolio of shipped product work — ideally in B2B SaaS, complex workflows, or data-heavy products.

Broad design capabilities across visual design, interaction design, product thinking, and prototyping — a "block-shaped" generalist rather than a single-specialty designer.

Proven experience prototyping beyond Figma — able to build runnable, code-based prototypes that communicate intent and behavior.

Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with related tools (FigJam, Sketch, InVision, or similar).

Experience defining and maintaining design systems and component libraries.

Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform product decisions.

Strong portfolio demonstrating impact in AI/ML or data-driven products.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, data science) in a fast-paced environment.

Thoughtful, well-formed opinions about how AI should appear in products — with a focus on trust, transparency, and appropriate automation.

Comfort operating with ambiguity and inventing new patterns for novel problems.

Regular, hands-on user of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) in research, ideation, and prototyping workflows.

Nice to Have:

Experience designing for non-technical users in complex B2B domains (procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or similar).

Prior work on agentic or autonomous AI features in a product context.

Location

This role is on-site in Munich, Germany.
