Collaborating closely with Product Owners and cross-functional stakeholders, you will actively shape our technical architecture, drive engineering excellence, and champion continuous process improvement.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Feature Development &amp; Ownership:</strong> Design and implement complex end-to-end features for high-complexity financial systems, taking full responsibility from initial design through to live operations.</li><li><strong>Architecture &amp; Tech Strategy:</strong> Actively contribute to the technical solution architecture and make informed, data-driven decisions regarding design patterns, modern technologies, and integration strategies.</li><li><strong>Agile Collaboration:</strong> Drive continuous refinement of development workflows, architectural standards, and team collaboration as a senior member of a self-organized Scrum team.</li><li><strong>Software Quality Assurance:</strong> Maintain exceptionally high software quality standards through proactive peer code reviews, robust automated testing, and general engineering best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring to the Team</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a University, ETH, or University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule).</li><li><strong>Core Technical Expertise:</strong> 4–6 years of professional experience in <strong>Java</strong> application development, paired with 1–3 years of experience in <strong>JavaScript</strong> and <strong>Angular</strong> for web development.</li><li><strong>Architectural Knowledge:</strong> Deep understanding of modern system design, specifically including <strong>Microservices</strong>, <strong>Event-driven architectures</strong>, and <strong>REST APIs</strong>.</li><li><strong>DevOps &amp; Infrastructure:</strong> Strong practical experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong>, DevOps principles, and container platforms like <strong>Kubernetes</strong> or <strong>OpenShift</strong>.</li><li><strong>Project Scale:</strong> 1–3 years of experience working inside large-scale, complex software projects involving multiple collaborating teams.</li><li><strong>Soft Skills:</strong> Highly developed problem-solving skills, strong teamwork capabilities, empathy, and emotional intelligence.</li><li><strong>Languages:</strong> <strong>German</strong> and <strong>English</strong>, both oral and written.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Are you ready to shape the future of the Swiss financial market with modern code and scalable architecture?
