As a Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d), you'll collaborate with fellow experts in the field and work closely with our team of data scientists to drive innovation and data-driven insights.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Your Tasks</strong></p><ul><li>Own, maintain, and continuously evolve the kununu data warehouse and its end-to-end data integrations.</li><li>Lead initiatives to extend our data platform capabilities and enable internal teams as well as external partners in their daily work.</li><li>Define and drive standards for data quality, performance, reliability, scalability, and governance.</li><li>Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities and take ownership of solving them.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to deliver scalable and innovative data products.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Your Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Extensive professional experience and strong expertise in Python, software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and development best practices.</li><li>Deep hands-on knowledge of databases, data warehouse solutions, SQL, and ideally dbt.</li><li>In-depth experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform, and at least one major cloud provider, preferably Google Cloud.</li><li>A proven track record of successfully delivering ETL or ELT projects at scale.</li><li>A strong engineering mindset with a focus on automation, testing, maintainability, observability, and production-ready code.</li><li>The ability to identify technical trade-offs, improve existing systems, and drive pragmatic solutions.</li><li>Excellent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Your Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Bring your dog to the office</li><li>6 week vacation</li><li>Mobile devices also for private use</li><li>Drinks, food & goodies</li><li>Restaurant vouchers and employee discount</li><li>Up to 12 weeks Workation</li><li>Remote work option</li><li>Trust-based working hours</li><li>Communication on equal terms</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>The gross annual salary for this position ranges between €70,000 and €80,000 depending on qualifications and experience.</p> </div>
