Not even close.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Role: </strong>Security Engineer</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Role Overview:</strong></p><p>We are hiring a Security Engineer to protect Joveo's platform, data, and </p><p>infrastructure against evolving threats. You will embed security into every </p><p>layer of our engineering stack — from application code to cloud configuration </p><p>— building systems that are secure by design, not by retrofit.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>- Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and vulnerability assessments</p><p>- Implement and maintain application security controls across backend and frontend systems</p><p>- Manage cloud security posture — IAM policies, network segmentation, secrets management</p><p>- Build and operate security monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities</p><p>- Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)</p><p>- Drive security awareness and best practices across engineering teams</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><p>- Strong experience in application and/or cloud security engineering</p><p>- Proficiency with security tools — SAST/DAST scanners, WAFs, SIEM platforms</p><p>- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerability classes</p><p>- Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure security services)</p><p>- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)</p><p>- Ability to communicate security risk clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer:</strong></p><p>Joveo is an equal opportunity employer.
