<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p><strong>Freelance Project Manager | Bridge Engineering | Infrastructure | Germany</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>I’m working with a leading engineering consultancy delivering major rail and infrastructure projects across Germany and are looking for an experienced Project Manager in Bridge Engineering to support a growing portfolio of projects.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Hamburg, Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hannover or Dresden (Hybrid)</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> Initial 6-month contract with a minimum 6-month extension likely</p><p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p><p><strong>Language:</strong> German C1/C2 (essential)</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the delivery of bridge and structural engineering projects within the rail and infrastructure sector.</li><li>Manage and coordinate a small multidisciplinary project team.</li><li>Act a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered in line with Deutsche Bahn requirements and relevant German regulations.</li><li>Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Support project governance, reporting, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Essential:</strong></p><ul><li>A successfully completed degree in civil engineering / specialization in structural engineering (M.Eng., M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing., Dr.-Ing.)</li><li>Minimum 7 years' experience in project management within infrastructure, civil engineering, transportation, or bridge engineering projects.</li><li>Previous experience working on Deutsche Bahn (DB) projects.</li><li>Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.</li><li>Experience leading and coordinating project teams.</li><li>Fluent German language skills (C1/C2).</li><li>Strong organisational and project delivery capabilities.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li>Background in bridge engineering, structural engineering, or civil infrastructure.</li><li>Understanding of bridge design and engineering software.</li><li>Experience working within engineering consultancies or major infrastructure contractors.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>If this sounds like a job for you, please apply below!</p> </div>
