About Alpine Business Consulting
Alpine Business Consulting is a specialized team that fixes enterprise performance management and reporting systems. Often, large organizations invest in complex planning tools only to find that the initial setup was handled poorly. This leads to finance teams dealing with numbers that do not match and closures that take too long. We step in to configure these systems properly or build new ones from scratch. Our consultants have worked with Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and modern analytics stacks for years. We prioritize delivering a single source of truth that finance teams can trust every morning.
Currently, a major German logistics provider is expanding its reporting capabilities, and we are assisting them in building a reliable data infrastructure. We do not use client projects as a training ground for inexperienced consultants. Every member of our team is expected to contribute to a successful handover by producing high quality documentation and ensuring configuration guides are actually useful for the client.

About the role
We are looking for a Project Coordinator Intern to support our senior consulting team on a variety of technical projects, including our work with the German logistics provider. This is a fully remote role where you will learn how large scale enterprise projects are managed from start to finish. Rather than just watching from the sidelines, you will be responsible for keeping the machinery of the project moving. This means tracking deadlines, organizing meeting summaries, and ensuring that our internal documentation matches the progress we make on the ground.
The goal for this internship is to give you a clear view of how EPM systems are implemented. You will work directly with seasoned consultants who value transparency and predictability. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, attentive to detail, and curious about how technology and finance intersect at the enterprise level.

What you will do

Support senior consultants by documenting project requirements and technical specifications during client meetings.

Maintain and update project schedules to ensure all milestones for the German logistics provider engagement are met on time.

Assist in creating configuration guides and handover documents that are easy for client teams to follow.

Track outstanding tasks and follow up with team members to ensure technical hurdles are being addressed.

Organize project folders and data rooms to keep all client information structured and accessible.

Prepare status reports that provide an honest look at project health and potential risks.

Help coordinate internal team meetings and ensure that action items are recorded and assigned.

Verify that data cleaning tasks are progressing according to the project plan.

What we are looking for

A current student or recent graduate in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep track of multiple moving parts without losing focus.

Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn more about data structures.

Clear and direct communication skills, both written and verbal.

A preference for order and documentation over shortcuts and guesswork.

The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Natural curiosity about how large companies manage their financial data and reporting.

A professional attitude and a commitment to meeting project deadlines.

What the role offers
This is a full-time, paid internship. We offering a competitive monthly stipend that is attractive for the current market and the internship level. Because we are a fully remote company, you will have the flexibility to work from your preferred environment while still being an integral part of a professional team. You will receive direct mentorship from consultants who have years of real-world experience in the EPM space. This is not a role where you will be getting coffee: you will be doing the real work of project coordination and learning the standard practices that make large implementations successful.

How we work
At Alpine Business Consulting, we believe in a straightforward approach. We avoid jargon and corporate fluff. Our focus is on delivering systems that work reliably and providing documentation that allows our clients to remain independent after we leave. We work in an environment of total transparency where we highlight problems early so they can be fixed properly. You will be encouraged to ask questions and suggest ways to make our documentation even cleaner. We value people who take pride in the accuracy of their work and understand that a well-run project is built on a foundation of clear data and consistent communication.
