The platform supports organisations in identifying relevant city challenges, market opportunities, and strategic insights to better engage with the public sector and accelerate urban innovation projects. </p><p> </p><p><strong>The Role</strong> </p><p>As Product Manager, you will take ownership of the development of BABLE's digital products, with a strong focus on the City Insights Manager platform. </p><p>You will also play an active role in building and maintaining (AI-powered) automation processes that are scalable, using tools like Claude and others. </p><p>You will work closely with developers, designers, urban innovation consultants, and external stakeholders to turn BABLE’s product vision into practical product improvements aligned with user needs and business goals. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Turn the product vision, roadmap, and priorities into action. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Translating user and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Managing and prioritising product backlogs. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Coordinating agile product development processes. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Supporting user testing, product validation, and continuous improvement. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Conducting and supporting user research activities to better understand user needs and behaviours. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborating with companies, cities, and partners to identify product opportunities. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Designing and maintaining AI-assisted workflows to automate and standardise internal and external processes. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Tracking product adoption, performance, and feedback, and translating insights into concrete next steps. </p></li></ul><p><strong>What We Expect from You</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Experience managing digital products or SaaS platforms. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong understanding of agile product development methodologies. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Know how to handle data and databases, which is at the core of our digital products. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, automation platforms) and a genuine interest in building AI-powered workflows, shaping how it's integrated into the way we work. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>An analytical and user centric mindset. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>The ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with B2B or SaaS is a strong plus. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Familiarity with smart city technologies or data platforms is a plus. </p></li></ul><p><strong>AI Savvy</strong> </p><p>We expect you to be comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day work to support research, analysis, automation, and workflow efficiency, while being curious and proactive about building AI-driven workflows that improve the way we work. We’re also looking for someone excited to explore how AI can enhance the products and experiences we create for our users, and who enjoys experimenting with new tools, ideas, and ways of working. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Your Profile</strong> </p><ul><li><p>A degree in a relevant field. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>3+ years of experience in product management or a similar role. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience working in agile and/or scrum environments. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Professional proficiency in English.
