<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p>Our client is looking for experienced OT/Network Engineers </p><p>Hybrid Role - Germany / London / Amsterdam</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for supporting OT networking, SCADA communications, and cybersecurity integration activities across utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects throughout the EMEA region.</p><p>The role will focus on industrial networking, communication systems, network architecture, and cybersecurity within transmission and distribution connected renewable energy projects.</p><p>You will work closely with engineering teams, clients, and field engineers to support network integration, FAT/SAT testing, commissioning, and operational performance.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>The main responsibilities include:</strong></p><p>Supporting OT network integration into TSO and SCADA systems</p><p>Supporting network configuration, communication interfaces, and cybersecurity requirements</p><p>Supporting FAT/SAT testing and commissioning activities</p><p>Working with industrial networking hardware and communication systems</p><p>Supporting network documentation and change control procedures</p><p>Supporting troubleshooting activities during commissioning and project execution</p><p>Working closely with clients and subcontractors on network compliance activities</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p><strong><em>Essential</em></strong></p><p>Degree in Computer Engineering, Networking, Information Technology or equivalent experience</p><p>Experience within utilities, transmission &amp; distribution, renewables, substations, or energy infrastructure projects</p><p>Knowledge of:</p><ul><li>OT networking</li><li>SCADA systems</li><li>Industrial communication systems</li><li>Cybersecurity practices</li></ul><p>Experience with:</p><ul><li>Routers</li><li>Firewalls</li><li>Switches</li><li>VPN technologies</li><li>Cisco networking equipment</li><li>SD-WAN</li><li>Meraki</li></ul><p>Experience with Linux systems and scripting</p><p>Experience supporting commissioning, FAT/SAT testing, or network integration activities</p><p>Strong communication and troubleshooting skills</p><p>Fluent English</p><p><br/></p><p><strong><em>Desirable</em></strong></p><p>BESS / Energy Storage experience</p><p>Python / Bash scripting experience</p><p>Knowledge of AWS, Docker, or Openstack</p><p>German language skills</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Contract Details:</strong></p><p>12-month initial contract</p><p>Hybrid working</p><p>EMEA travel required</p><p>Rate dependent on experience</p><p></p> </div>
