You will lead the design and evolution of the end-to-end architecture spanning mobile/web apps, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and data flows, while ensuring seamless integration with UAV and operational systems.</li><li>You will guide a team of engineers, align multiple technical stakeholders, and remain hands-on—driving pragmatic execution in an early-stage environment and setting high standards for quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Technical Leadership &amp; Architecture.</li><li>Establish architectural principles and guardrails that ensure scalability, security, reliability, observability, and maintainability across the stack.</li><li>Lead architectural alignment across teams (application, platform, cloud, embedded), ensuring consistent decisions, clean interfaces, and long-term coherence.</li><li>Champion engineering excellence through code quality standards, CI/CD discipline, robust testing strategies, and operational readiness (monitoring, incident response, runbooks)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>7+ years of experience in software engineering, including system design/architecture and delivery of application platforms (backend services, cloud infrastructure, and user-facing systems).</li><li>Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role (e.g., Software Lead, Tech Lead, Engineering Lead)—guiding engineers, setting direction, and owning outcomes.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with modern backend and frontend technologies, such as:</li><li>Python (FastAPI or similar), TypeScript (React, Angular, Svelte or similar), Java (Spring Boot or similar)</li><li>Should be able to decide what Hardware to choose</li><li>Fluency in English</li><li>Experience in Automotive, logistics, mobility, robotics, UAV or aerospace-adjacent domains.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>German language is a plus not mandatory.</li><li>Familiarity with aviation standards such as DO-178C or ARP4754A (beneficial but not required).</li><li>Embedded or real-time experience is a plus</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>NOTE: </strong>Applicants who has either EU or German Passport can only apply.</p> </div>
