If you are passionate about high-voltage technology and organizational excellence, this is your stage to drive meaningful innovation.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>General Information</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Start: asap</li><li>Location: Zurich</li><li>Workload: 100%</li><li>Duration: permanent</li></ul><p><br/></p><p> <strong>How You’ll Make an Impact</strong></p><p> </p><p>In this highly responsible position, you will oversee <strong>three distinct laboratories</strong> and a team of approximately <strong>15 FTEs</strong>, ensuring the highest standards of technical precision and operational efficiency.</p><ul><li><strong>Strategic Leadership:</strong> Act as the primary point of contact for HV testing; manage resources, recruitment, and professional development for the laboratory team.</li><li><strong>Operational Excellence:</strong> Ensure high-volume output through reliable testing procedures, including <strong>AC, DC, impulse, and partial discharge</strong> testing.</li><li><strong>Process Innovation:</strong> Collaborate with Process Engineering to identify and integrate emerging technologies and best practices (CIP).</li><li><strong>Safety &amp; Compliance:</strong> Uphold rigorous safety and quality standards in accordance with <strong>IEC/IEEE</strong> and <strong>ISO</strong> regulations.</li><li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Partner with Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Production departments to ensure holistic process design and seamless workflow.</li><li><strong>Performance Management:</strong> Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting directly to the Operations Manager to drive data-driven decision-making.</li><li><strong>Governance:</strong> Ensure all internal and external regulations, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, are strictly followed.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Your Background</strong></p><p> </p><p>We are looking for a leader who combines deep technical expertise with a modern approach to people management and process optimization.</p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Technical apprenticeship followed by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in <strong>Electrical Engineering</strong> or a related field.</li><li><strong>Leadership Experience:</strong> Several years of proven experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams, ideally within high-voltage testing, insulation technology, or power engineering.</li><li><strong>Technical Proficiency:</strong> Solid knowledge of high-voltage systems, generators, and automation systems.</li><li><strong>Methodological Expertise:</strong> Strong command of <strong>Lean Management, Six Sigma</strong>, and other process optimization frameworks.</li><li><strong>Soft Skills:</strong> Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a "safety-first" mindset.</li><li><strong>Languages:</strong> Fluency in both <strong>German and English</strong> is mandatory.</li></ul> </div>
