As the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, we have years of experience in the management of sizeable sums of assets.<br/><br/><strong> Your challenge <br/><br/></strong><strong>About The Role<br/><br/></strong>We are looking for an IT Security Engineer to help protect and further develop our applications, cloud services, infrastructure and workplace environments. This role combines hands-on security engineering with consulting, automation and the use of AI to make security smarter, faster and more scalable.<br/><br/>You will work with architects, engineers, developers, risk functions and business teams to turn security requirements into practical solutions that work in real life — not just on paper.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities<br/><br/><ul><li>Advise project, product and platform teams on secure architecture, design and implementation </li><li>Perform security-by-design reviews for applications, cloud services and critical systems </li><li>Design, implement, and continuously enhance security controls across firewall, secure web access, VPN, endpoint, DLP, PAM, cloud security, and identity, while ensuring their reliable operation as part of a DevOps delivery model </li><li>Support evaluations, PoCs and rollouts of new security products and services </li><li>Use automation, scripting and AI-enabled tools to improve recurring security processes, analysis, documentation and control effectiveness </li><li>Contribute to security standards, policies, KPIs, reporting and risk-based decision-making </li><li>Support incident handling, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis where security engineering expertise is needed </li><li>Work closely with infrastructure, development, operations, governance and risk teams <br/><br/></li></ul><strong> Your profile <br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Several years of experience in IT security engineering or cloud security. </li><li>Strong knowledge in at least two areas such as network security, endpoint security, Azure / M365 security, identity and access management, SIEM / SOAR, incident handling or security automation </li><li>Practical experience with security technologies such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, DLP, PAM, firewall or secure access solutions </li><li>Experience with scripting or automation, for example PowerShell, Python, Golang or similar </li><li>Good understanding of security-by-design, risk-based decision-making and common frameworks such as ISO 2700x or NIST </li><li>Structured, reliable and solution-oriented way of working </li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to make security understandable and actionable </li><li>Very good English skills; German is an advantage </li><li>Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call duty <br/><br/></li></ul>Nice to Have<br/><br/><ul><li>Experience in regulated environments or financial services </li><li>Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, AZ-500 or SC-100 <br/><br/></li></ul>Why Join This Role<br/><br/><ul><li>Work on security topics that truly matter across cloud, infrastructure, applications and identity </li><li>Shape how AI and automation are used in modern security engineering </li><li>Join a role with a mix of consulting, hands-on engineering and strategic improvement </li><li>Collaborate with experienced teams across IT, development, risk and business </li><li>Help build scalable security solutions with real impact <br/><br/></li></ul>Please note that applications submitted via recruitment agencies cannot be considered for this position.<br/><br/><strong>Benefits At LGT<br/><br/></strong><strong>A great place to work – a great place to have impact: </strong>LGT promotes diversity among its employees.
