This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone with a founder mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves shipping complex, impactful products. You'll join a small, product-focused engineering team delivering scalable, AI-powered software for distributors and manufacturers.<br/><br/>What You'll Do<br/><br/><ul><li>Own the architecture and design of AI systems from concept to production.</li><li>Collaborate with other engineers across the full stack.</li><li>Build data pipelines to process large-scale unstructured data efficiently.</li><li>Deploy and manage software in cloud environments.</li><li>Make the backend scalable, stable, and efficient.</li><li>Develop scalable and reusable components and API structures.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable code with sensible test coverage.<br/><br/></li></ul>What We're Looking For<br/><br/><strong>Required<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Proficiency in building end-to-end AI-powered web applications using Next.js/React on the frontend and Python on the backend.</li><li>Demonstrated product-minded mindset with a track record of shipping complex web applications.</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern CI/CD practices.</li><li>Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Nice To Have<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Hands-on experience with ML/NLP technologies, including embeddings, vector databases, and RLHF, and deploying ML components in production.</li><li>Experience with ML model serving and inference pipelines in production environments.</li><li>Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.<br/><br/></li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<br/><br/><ul><li>Salary range: $90,000 – $200,000 USD annually (depending on experience).</li><li>Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology with real-world enterprise impact.</li><li>Small team with high ownership and direct influence on product direction.<br/><br/></li></ul>Location<br/><br/><ul><li>On-site in Munich, Germany.</li><li>Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.</li></ul> </div>
