English fluency is essential; German is a plus.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>General Information:</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Start date: asap</li><li>Planned duration: 12 months from start date</li><li>Extension (in case of limitation): possible</li><li>Workplace: Rotkreuz</li><li>Workload: 80-100%</li><li>Home Office: Onsite 50%, home office possible, flexible working hours</li><li>Travel: no</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Tasks & Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Contribute to RLX infrastructure from all the way to hardware and physical network to building and maintaining on-premises HA clusters with all their infrastructure services</li><li>Select, order, assemble and integrate hardware for the infrastructure</li><li>Contribute to the RLX hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure</li><li>Create and operate the platform for our high-level services (build servers, CI runners, artifact repositories)</li><li>Integrate the infrastructure with external dependencies (compute, storage, network provided by the company and facilities available on site, and also with service dependencies, such as GitLab, GitHub, Artifactory, Slack)</li><li>Create declarative infrastructure as code solution for infrastructure management</li><li>Build and maintain monitoring, alerting and inventory management services</li><li>Provide a platform for developer self-service that allows devs to experiment or solution engineers to take over a hardware-in-the-loop device for debugging and testing</li><li>Design a lifecycle management solution for the infrastructure and the hardware-in-the-loop hardware components</li><li>Design, implement, test and maintain the backup, emergency and disaster recovery procedures for the infrastructure and the services</li><li>Manage the cloud infrastructure</li><li>Integrate cloud and on-premises infrastructure and services</li><li>Design, build and maintain pipelines (GitHub)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Must Haves:</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>8+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or a related field.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.</li><li>Proven track record of designing, building, and operating infrastructure platforms from the ground up, including user-facing services and production environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, reliability, security, and operational excellence</li><li>Experience collaborating closely with: Software Engineers, Solution Architects, Product and Platform teams, Customer-facing technical stakeholders</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, drive infrastructure improvements, and influence engineering best practices.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).</li><li>German language skills are a plus, but not required.</li><li><em>Please upload the degree certificate and the latest reference letter.</em></li><li><em>CVs have to be uploaded in English.</em></li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>• Experience in Virtualization / Container technologies, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines</p><p>• Experience with cloud providers (e.g. AWS) and IaC (e.g. Terraform)</p><p>• Experience in Embedded Software, Hardware Drivers, ARM Platform, hardware / software</p><p>integration</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Your application</strong></p><p>Please apply online.
