Our client is one of Europe's most-backed deep-tech scale-ups: a venture-backed company.</p><p><br/></p><p>They are now building the data engineering function from scratch. Be a part of designing the data platform that a generational European company is going to depend on for the next twenty years.</p><p><br/></p><p>This role will focus on development of scalable data pipelines, data infrastructure, and AI-driven solutions - built from the ground up. With no legacy systems, you will help design and implement commercially impactful tools in a greenfield environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who want to build and who want ownership, pace, and purpose.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you will actually do</strong></p><ul><li>Stand up the data platform<strong>. </strong>Work closely with the Architect in designing the platform.</li><li>Build the pipelines<strong>.</strong> Proven experience building data pipelines within a modern data stack (e.g., Data Lakes, SQL-based architectures).</li><li>Own production reliability end-to-end<strong>.</strong> From SECS/GEM at the tool to the dbt model at the warehouse to the Looker dashboard at the engineer's desk. You will not be handed a finished system to maintain.</li><li>Partner with process and quality engineers daily.</li><li>Set the standard.
