Data Analyst (m/f/d) - Order-to-Cash
<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <strong>Make data matter—on a global scale.<br/><br/></strong>At <strong>KWS Berlin GmbH</strong> we are looking for a <strong>Data Analyst (m/f/d) – Order-to-Cash</strong> to drive smarter decisions across our international order-to-cash landscape.<br/><br/>This is afull-time, permanent position based in Berlin.<br/><br/><strong>Your responsibilities:<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Identify and evaluate analytical opportunities and translate business requirements into robust analytical concepts and reports</li><li>Design, build, and maintain a comprehensive reporting and analytics landscape within order-to-cash, focusing on areas such as credit and default risk, accounts receivable, overdue items, DSO, cash flow optimization, and risk KPIs</li><li>Operate, enhance, and govern data pipelines across credit management, accounts receivable, autobank, and customer master data, ensuring compliance with central master data and governance standards</li><li>Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses to identify value drivers (e.g., payment terms, credit risk, pricing/volume trends, cash realization)</li><li>Closely collaborate with Process Excellence, Service & Performance Management, and Digital Solutions to maintain data catalogs, ensure a “single source of truth,” and continuously enhance analytics platforms</li><li>Support process mining and advanced analytics use cases (e.g., Celonis) to identify inefficiencies and optimization potential</li><li>Take ownership of the stability, scalability, and governance of the order-to-cash analytics landscape</li><li>Promote the adoption of analytical solutions and actively drive change management within the order-to-cash organization</li><li>Further develop analytical capabilities across the order-to-cash domain<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Your tasks:<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Create and maintain regular order-to-cash reports and dashboards (e.g., aging analysis, DSO, collections, credit exposure, risk KPIs, dispute and cash allocation KPIs)</li><li>Steer, validate, and ensure quality of analytics solutions in line with governance and reporting standards</li><li>Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present actionable insights to management and business stakeholders</li><li>Develop and maintain customer and performance scorecards to support strategic and operational decision-making</li><li>Implement anomaly detection (e.g., for invoices, incoming payments, master data changes) to reduce risk and improve compliance</li><li>Analyze regional and customer-specific performance deviations and identify root causes of overdue receivables</li><li>Prepare data for senior management meetings, business reviews, and presentations</li><li>Support training and enablement initiatives for analytics tools and dashboards<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Your profile:<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, (Business) Informatics, or a comparable field; alternatively, a relevant commercial or IT-related vocational qualification</li><li>Several years of experience in a finance environment combined with business intelligence, analytics, or data-driven decision support</li><li>Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and experience with ERP systems and analytics solutions (e.g., Power BI, SAP SAC, SAP Datasphere, Celonis)<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Technical & professional skills:<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Strong expertise in BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP SAC, Datasphere, or similar)</li><li>Experience with process mining tools is a plus</li><li>Advanced SQL skills; Python or R is an advantage</li><li>Good understanding of order-to-cash data structures (customers, orders, credit management, invoicing, incoming payments, cash allocation, receivables management)</li><li>Strong analytical, structured, and quality-focused working style with high attention to detail</li><li>High level of initiative, self-organization, and interest in continuous improvement</li><li>Fluent in English (written and spoken);
