You’ll start by building on a solid foundation of data, and grow your impact by helping teams solve real world problems with smart, scalable insights. <br/><br/></em><em>This is a hands-on role, you’ll shape dashboards, create new data models and be a go-to partner for business stakeholders. You’ll get to play a key role in making data more self-serve, enabling others to explore and act on insights, with your support. <br/><br/></em>________________________________________________________________________________________________________<br/><br/><strong>Getting Started...<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Get to know our BI stack and reporting infrastructure</li><li>Meet key commercial and finance stakeholders and shadow existing reporting processes</li><li>Review existing dashboards, data sources, and user feedback to identify early wins<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Establishing Your Impact…<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Build and optimise reports and dashboards in Sigma</li><li>Collaborate with marketing, finance, and ops to translate business needs into data outputs</li><li>Begin supporting teams with SQL-powered insights and reporting improvements<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Driving Excellence…<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Own and evolve core dashboards and reporting pipelines</li><li>Champion self-service BI through stakeholder training and enablement</li><li>Identify data gaps and lead initiatives to improve quality, accessibility, and usability<br/><br/></li></ul>________________________________________________________________________________________________________<br/><br/><strong>Key Goals &amp; Objectives:<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Deliver accurate, insightful, and scalable reporting across the business</li><li>Improve the quality, speed, and accessibility of our internal data</li><li>Support decision-making through analysis and close collaboration with teams</li><li>Enable a culture of self-service analytics through training and tools<br/><br/></li></ul>Key Responsibilities<br/><br/><ul><li>Design and maintain dashboards in Sigma</li><li>Translate business requirements into data solutions, from ad hoc queries to scalable reports</li><li>Write robust SQL to support reporting, modelling, and transformation tasks</li><li>Act as a connector between business users and the core data team</li><li>Train and support colleagues on BI tools and data best practices</li><li>Identify inefficiencies in existing reporting and proactively offer improvements</li><li>Support experimentation with natural language querying and other accessibility features</li><li>Partner especially closely with Finance and Commercial teams to drive meaningful analysis<br/><br/></li></ul>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise<br/><br/><strong>Essential Skills &amp; Experience:<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Solid SQL skills and experience building data models from scratch</li><li>Proficiency in BI tools (ideally Sigma, but Power BI, Looker or similar also great)</li><li>Confident working across departments to gather requirements and iterate on outputs</li><li>Background in Business, Finance, or Data Analyst roles (or similar analytical fields)</li><li>Curious, commercial mindset — you want to understand the “why” behind the data<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Desirable (Nice to Have):<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Exposure to natural language querying tools or approaches</li><li>Previous experience improving or designing self-serve analytics environments</li><li>Hands-on knowledge of modern data stacks and modelling approaches</li></ul> </div>
