The role spans two workstreams: building agentic AI workflows (LLM agents, prompt systems, orchestration) for non-technical business use cases. The other stream is building production-grade data harmonisation pipelines that standardise product data across 80+ markets using semantic search, LLM matching and deterministic SQL. Offered as an initial 6-month contract with strong potential to extend for the right long-term fit.<br/> <br/> <strong>What You'll Do<br/></strong> • Design, build and maintain data transformation pipelines using Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architecture.<br/> • Develop AI/LLM-powered pipeline stages: prompt engineering, vector search, structured output parsing, confidence scoring, human-in-the-loop escalation.<br/> • Build and deploy serverless AI agents with tool-calling, state management, intent routing and failure handling.<br/> • Write and maintain dbt models, tests, macros and documentation across multi-repo architectures.<br/> • Manage Snowflake infrastructure: stored procedures, dynamic tables, streams, tasks, access controls.<br/> • Build configuration-driven code-generation systems to scale engineering patterns across markets.<br/> • Work closely with the client's AI engineer to clarify requirements, agree priorities and deliver incrementally.<br/> • Participate in DSP stand-ups, planning, code reviews and knowledge-sharing; report progress, risks and trade-offs.<br/> <br/> <strong>Required Technical Skills<br/></strong> <em><strong>Core:</strong> </em>Strong SQL (Snowflake), Python 3.x (Pydantic, async), dbt (models, tests, macros, Jinja), and Git.<br/> <strong><em>Data Engineering:</em> </strong>Medallion architecture, ETL/ELT design, incremental refresh and CDC patterns, IaC/migration tooling (e.g. Liquibase), data quality and observability, production-grade pipeline design.<br/> <em><strong>AI and LLM Engineering:</strong></em> Prompt engineering and structured outputs, vector search/semantic retrieval, agent orchestration (tool dispatch, state machines, retries), RAG patterns, knowledege of trade offs deterministic vs. agentic, LLM output evaluation.<br/> <strong><em>Infrastructure and DevOps:</em> </strong>Snowflake ecosystem (Azure a plus), CI/CD via GitHub Actions, secrets/RBAC management, dev/staging/prod environments, production support awareness.<br/> <br/> <strong>Nice to Have<br/></strong> • Snowpark, Snowflake Cortex AI/Cortex Search, Shiny/Streamlit, template-based code generation, Poetry.<br/> • FMCG, retail, consumer goods or product-data domain experience.<br/> • Prior consulting experience or embedded client delivery teams; multi-market/multi-language project experience. </div>
