This role involves designing, implementing, and operating a scalable and secure platform that simplifies Kubernetes workload management for diverse users. You will work at the intersection of agility and security, leveraging modern DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and open-source technologies to build a robust framework. Your expertise will help empower internal teams and external clients to deploy and manage Kubernetes environments efficiently, fostering a vibrant InnerSource community. Additionally, you will play a key role in automating processes, establishing best practices, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and open collaboration.<br/><br/><strong>Qualifications<br/><br/></strong>The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes platforms, with a strong command of Cloud-Native technologies such as Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with additional CNCF landscape tools, such as OpenTofu, Kustomize, and Backstage, is highly desirable. You should have a solid background in Infrastructure as Code and templating tools, along with software development skills, preferably in Go, with a portfolio of relevant projects or experience. Profound IT knowledge, including cloud providers, cloud networking, and Linux systems, is essential. A passion for open-source projects and community building is a plus, demonstrating your commitment to collaborative development and knowledge sharing.
