Business Analyst / Application Manager

We're looking for a Business Analyst / Application Manager to keep our core banking applications stable, effective, and aligned with business priorities. You'll partner across operations, finance, and IT to optimise processes, support users, and drive meaningful change in a regulated Swiss banking environment.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with business and technology teams to elicit, analyse, and document requirements for core banking and related applications; translate needs into practical solutions, system changes, and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Provide hands-on application support for business-critical systems, including incident, issue, and defect management; monitor performance and contribute to daily operational stability.</li><li>Coordinate testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), releases, upgrades, and patches to enable smooth change delivery.</li><li>Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and maintain strong service performance (SLAs, governance).</li><li>Support end users through troubleshooting, guidance, training, and access-related activities.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, procedures, audit evidence, and control records; support regulatory and internal control requirements.</li><li>Contribute to resilience, risk management, and compliance activities in a regulated environment.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships across business, operations, finance, and IT teams in multiple locations.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What we are looking for</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in business analysis, application management, or production support within banking or financial services.</li><li>Solid understanding of core banking processes and products; private banking context is highly advantageous.</li><li>Hands-on experience supporting core banking platforms and integrated applications.</li><li>Proven ability to manage incidents, priorities, and stakeholder communications effectively.</li><li>Strong knowledge of testing, UAT coordination, release processes, and change management.</li><li>Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC, and operational control frameworks.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a lean team while building effective partnerships across business and technology functions.</li><li>Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and general end-user support environments.</li><li>Exposure to SQL or database concepts.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Nice to have (non-essential)</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in private banking, wealth management, or other regulated financial services environments.</li><li>Knowledge of reconciliation, AML, regulatory reporting, accounting, or electronic archiving applications.</li><li>Understanding of business continuity planning, audit support, and operational resilience.</li><li>Experience working with offshore or international stakeholders and third-party vendors.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>As part of our collaborative & agile culture, our working week is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
