The Wasserverband Eifel-Rur (WVER) is a public water management association responsible for water resources in the German Rur catchment area. It manages flood control, provides raw water for drinking and industrial use, and handles wastewater treatment. WVER operates 43 wastewater treatment plants and six reservoirs, serving approximately 1.1 million people in its service area.
