The Swiss Federal Administration is the executive branch of the Swiss federal authorities, consisting of seven federal departments and the Federal Chancellery. It is responsible for executing federal law and preparing draft laws and policies for the Federal Council and the Federal Assembly. It is one of the largest employers in Switzerland.
