The International AIDS Society (IAS) is the world's largest association of HIV/AIDS professionals, founded in 1988. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to leading the global response to HIV through science, advocacy, and education. The IAS convenes major international conferences, such as the International AIDS Conference, and supports research and initiatives aimed at improving HIV prevention, treatment, and care worldwide.
