GeoSphere Austria is the national geological, geophysical, climatological, and meteorological service of Austria. It was formed on January 1, 2023, by the merger of the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics (ZAMG) and the Geological Survey of Austria. The organization contributes to increasing national resilience and disaster preparedness, providing essential foundations for life and economy in Austria, including addressing climate change.
