Forschungsverbund Berlin e.V. (FVB) is one of Berlin's largest non-university research institutions, encompassing seven scientifically independent institutes. These institutes conduct cutting-edge research across natural, engineering, life, and environmental sciences. Operating under a single legal entity with a shared administration, FVB's institutes are members of the Leibniz Association and are jointly funded by the German federal and state governments.
