The DLR Quantum Computing Initiative (DLR QCI) is a program launched by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) in 2021, and is part of the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR). Its mission is to promote the development, construction, and use of quantum computers in Germany. The initiative brings together research institutions, startups, and industrial partners, and has established two innovation centers in Hamburg and Ulm.
