The Biotechnology Institute is an independent, leading science-based national education organization, established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 1998. Its core mission is to engage, excite, and educate young people about career prospects in biotechnology and to catalyze their innovative potential. The institute directs various educational programs, including the prominent BioGENEius Challenge.
