Alpen Glasfaser GmbH is Austria's largest private fiber optic initiative, founded in 2022 as a joint venture between Magenta Telekom and Meridiam Infrastructure. The company is responsible for building and expanding fiber optic networks across various regions in Austria, connecting households, businesses, and municipalities with high-speed internet. They aim to invest 1 billion Euros by 2030 to connect over 650,000 Austrian households and businesses to FTTH (Fiber to the Home) technology.
