If you're a fluent German speaker with strong English skills, and you thrive in a collaborative yet independent work environment, we want to hear from you.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Position Description</strong></p><p>This is a<strong> long-term, part-time freelance position</strong> (minimum 15 hours per week), fully remote and location-independent.</p><p>As Website Manager DE, you take ownership of the German domain of JobTestPrep, our offering for the recruitment test preparation market in the DACH region.</p><p>The role <strong>does not</strong> require coding or DevOps skills. The focus is on content, SEO, localization, user experience, and the strategic development of the site.</p><p>You will work closely with the General Manager, with other Website Managers, and with designers and developers.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Take ownership of the German domain and drive its strategic development</p><p>• Plan, create, and optimize content for the German-speaking recruitment test preparation market</p><p>• Run market and product research, including competitor analysis</p><p>• Lead the localization process from English to German, using localization tools and quality assurance to ensure linguistic and cultural fit</p><p>• Plan and implement SEO strategies (on-page, content SEO, technical SEO)</p><p>• Track performance with Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tools, and translate insights into action</p><p>• Write requirements and tickets for designers and developers</p><p>• Stay current with industry trends, AI tools, and SEO developments and bring improvements to the site</p><p>• Contribute to product development and marketing across the full life cycle, from market research to customer-facing content</p><p><strong>Must-Have Skills</strong></p><p>• German at high-proficiency level (C2), with strong written and spoken English</p><p>• 3+ years of experience in website management or a comparable role</p><p>• Experience with on-page SEO and content SEO, plus technical SEO understanding</p><p>• Hands-on experience with at least one CMS (Umbraco, WordPress, or comparable)</p><p>• Experience with Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, and Google Analytics (GA4)</p><p>• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables</p><p>• Experience with localization tools and workflows, with the ability to validate output quality</p><p>• Active use of AI tools in content creation and research (please be ready to share concrete examples in the interview)</p><p>• Strong feel for cultural specifics in the DACH region</p><p>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p><p>• Awareness of copyright, content rights, and data privacy</p><p>• Experience in stakeholder communication in English</p><p>• Experience writing requirements and tickets for designers and developers</p><p>• Strong interest in UX and an active mindset for suggesting improvements</p><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><p>• Experience with SEO audit tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Ahrefs)</p><p>• Experience working with PPC managers</p><p>• Experience with Google Merchant Center (GMC) and Comparison Shopping Services (CSS)</p><p>• Experience in research and outreach to potential affiliate partners</p><p>• Basic skills in design tools (e.g., Figma, Canva)</p><p>• Experience as a content creator on social media, particularly YouTube and TikTok</p><p>• Experience in video production and editing for social media</p><p>• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)</p><p>• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog)</p><p>• Familiarity with the German market for aptitude testing</p><p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p><p>• Take real ownership of a site with full content responsibility and a wide scope of decision-making</p><p>• Significant room to learn, experiment, and improve, across a wide range of disciplines</p><p>• A varied role that touches strategy, content, SEO, UX, data, and stakeholder work</p><ul><li>• Fully remote and location-independent, with flexible hours</li></ul> </div>
